Ingredients
- 1/2lb Ahi Tuna Steak
- 4 Tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1/2 tsp Sesame Oil
- 1/2 Tbsp Chili Flakes
- 1 Avocado
- 1/8 cup fresh Cilantro
- 3 Garlic cloves
- 1/2 Jalapeno diced
- 1/2 Tbsp Olive Oil
- Pinch of Black Pepper
- Pinch of Salt
- The juice of 1 key lime
Tuna Marinade
Avocado Cream
Instructions
- Tuna Marinade:
- Coat all sides of tuna steak with marinade ingredients for 10-20 minutes in fridge, but making sure it is thaw (leave out if necessary)
- Avocado Cream:
- Blend all avocado cream ingredients in a blender or food processor until you get a smooth consistency. Add additional olive oil if needed for a creamier consistency.
- Grab a spoonful and spread over center of plate
- Heat skillet over medium heat until hot
- Brush small amount of sesame oil on pan prior to searing each side of Ahi Tuna
- Sear all sides of tuna for 1 minute each side then remove from heat
- Cut in 1/2 inch slices and set slices on plate over avocado cream
